I finally got the slides how and video feeds to work properly. Computers are incredibly unforgiving, in that you only need to make the slightest error and the whole thing wont work. Computers and math. So unforgiving.

Amazing. No longer will the look of solar power be the large, bulky, basic shape of the rectangular panel- More important, this material will be able to fit the contours of home and business structures....

Imagine, in a few short years, every man-made surface on the planet will be covered in technology like this, making photosynthesis the main form of energy consumption for humanity. This stuff could be put into automobile paint, road surfaces, building faces, windows, the possibilities seem initially endless...

Okay, I know the Hubble telescope probably has nothing to do with eco-friendly technology. However, the site has some fantastic images (professional quality that can be downloaded for FREE) Besides, Eddie did figure out the universe is expanding. Sometimes you have to look at the really big picture before looking at the smaller ones.

Aerotecture.com on the other hand, is very interesting to me. Urban windmills, shaped like a human dna helix. Apparently India purchased a contract to have 140,000 villages powered in this fashion by 2010, but I have not seen any documentation regarding this. Cool design worth checking out, in any event...

First of firsts...

Well here it is. The blog that I have to do for the internet design course I have been so looking forward to.

My blog for the quarter will pretty much be about eco-friendly technology. Personally, I am just a simple artist and possess almost no knowledge on the subject, but it is something that I have a great interest in. often times at work I will hear rumors about this technology or that, and unfortunately I come into contact with many people who believe nothing will change- or worse- nothing can be done at all.

Regardless of one's political views, it is pretty easy to agree that the issue of fossil fuels/ global warming may be the most important in modern history. Definately no shortage of material here in terms of opinions, at least....

So, please leave any links that you have to cool technological advances worldwide.
